Porthcurno Beach Café and Shop

The Porthcurno Beach Café and Shop is only a few minutes stroll across the car park towards the beach. A friendly café atmosphere is encouraged by bright, airy décor and seating on the patio looking towards the sea. The café specialises in Lavazza Espresso coffee - Cappuccino, Latte, Espresso, Machiato and so on. Cornish clotted cream teas and a selection of herbal or fruit teas, coffee or cold drinks. A speciality is freshly squeezed pure orange juice. Delice de France baguettes are baked on the premises and are served with various delicious fresh fillings. The range of sandwiches varies from day to day. Cakes are all made on the premises and include Lemon Drizzle Cake, Carrot Cake and Chocolate Cake. Date and Walnut and Date and Apricot Flapjacks are popular favourites. Kelly´s Cornish Ice-Cream and Cornish Pasties are, of course, available. People often comment on the interesting range of items for sale in the shop. Cornish biscuits and fudge can be found amongst the souvenirs and there are beach goods in sufficient variety to please children and adults spending a day at the beach. The Gallery features original watercolours of the area. The Porthcurno Beach is open seven days a week from Easter until October from 9am to 5.30pm and later in summer. You are always welcome to come and browse or sit and have a coffee, a cold drink or an ice-cream. All food and drinks are takeaway so that you can eat and drink at the tables inside or outside or carry it to the beach, theatre or wherever.
