Science interactives in the classroom KS2 & 3

For autumn 2008 and spring 2009 terms schools can loan hand’s-on science kits from the museum. These have been developed in association with Science Learning Centres and Explore@Bristol to enable teachers to present science in a more engaging and stimulating way in the classroom. The interactives allow pupils to investigate energy and forces in a practical way. There are worksheets available for different Key Stages.

For secondary schools the cost is £150 per week to include delivery and a training session with teacher or technical staff on the morning of delivery.

For primary schools the cost is £150 per day to include lesson delivery by the Museum Education Officer.

The kits will also be available later in 2009 and 2010.
