Five leaf-shaped pieces of flint of various sizes.

The Minack Theatre was founded in 1932 when a group of enthusiasts played Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ on a level grassy plot half way down the cliffside from the garden of Rowena Cade. From small beginnings, and with the vision and hard work of Rowena and others, the Minack grew over the years into the large and professional theatre it is now.
