History of electricity (KS 3) outreach

Genuine Victorian artefacts relating to the development of electrical knowledge during the 1800's can be brought out to your school for an illustrated talk and demonstration.

Artefacts include a replica Wimshurst machine, medical coil, early lightbulbs, modern interactives, electro-magnets in working contexts and telegraph systems.

There will be the opportunity for students to handle and try out some of the equipment at the end of the session.

The activity brings this area of science to life in a fun and interesting way.

Session lengths can be adapted to suit your timetable and a number of groups can be covered in one visit.

Ring Lesley Allen on (01736) 810592 for details or to book.
