The Museum really has hit the nail on the head when trying to grasp pupils' attention and encourage them to want to find out more.

It costs over £300,000 per year to maintain our collections, exhibition, and local history project, while continuing to provide our education programme which reaches out to over 1,500 children a year.
As a registered charity which receives no central government funding, we rely on the generosity of supporters to allow us to continue doing what we do.
